First they presented a little presentation about the job and company. Then asked about my resume, grades, courses I took etc. Then went into the actual interview. The interviewer said that the interview would be theoretical but it wasn’t. They gave me two questions, each one we discussed deeply. I still don’t have an answer regarding the next interview but I don’t think I’ll get it. I was not on top of my game because of one course I took three years ago and also because I was told that the interview is theoretical, which it wasn’t. The interviewer insisted I get interviewed very soon even though I communicated that I have finals and that I need to refresh my knowledge of the course I took three years ago. Bad idea. I did not like the interviewer; he was pushy, and too strict. Also his questions were designed to trick which just took away my passion of working for them. For example, I would answer correctly at the first time and he wouldn’t tell me, but ask questions in a “are you sure?” manner. I also could explain with another physical and valid explanation but he would want very specific explanation in his mind (sometimes you can tackle a question more physically in different ways, or mathematically, etc). So that mostly what made the interview difficult. I do not think I’ll get a second interview but even if I did, I’m not sure I want this guy to be my boss, it doesn’t sound promising.
