Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 4 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en NEXT (Enderby, England) en oct 2019

      Entrevista

Applied online and very quickly had an email inviting me for a telephone interview. Passed that and was then invited for an assessment day. This consisted of group activities as an 'ice breaker', a telephone call assessment in the form of an aggrieved customer, written assessment in the form of writing an email response to a complaint, maths assessment and one to one interview. There was a lot of waiting around while different activities started and finished and everyone had to wait until the whole groups one 2 one interviews were completed before leaving. During this time a member of staff remained in the room with you, who was clearly assessing candidates still which is worth baring in mind as some of the group engaged in very unprofessional conversation. Everyone in the room were applying for different call centre roles so the process was very generic and none of the staff in recruitment seemed to know who had applied for which roles. After the assessment day I had a phone call approximately 1 week later with a job offer. Which I subsequently turned down. I was offered the position, and even the exact hours I wanted but turned it down. Firstly because everyone who I came into contact with at next appeared very self important and disinterested in you. I felt like they thought they were 'better' than me and this made me uneasy. Secondly when the information arrived about my induction process it was unbelievably patronising. Asking me to perform silly tasks at home regarding customer service and bring the information to my training to discuss in a group. Training very generic and does not consider candidates background and experience.
