Pre-screen evaluation test required. Once you pass the evaluation, the first pre-interview is with a recruiter. Next step is a phone interview by a local manager. If selected, the candidate completes a day long interview. In my case, the manager forgot that the recruiter scheduled the interview. Because I was told he would call me, I didn't have any contact information for him. I waited for about 20+ min to see if he would call before reaching out to the recruiter. She was able to track him down fairly quickly (huge kudos to her!) and he called me about 30 min after our scheduled appointment. Unfortunately he was completely unprepared for the call and it showed. Instead of a phone interview, as I was told it would be, he said it wasn't going to be an interview but that I could just ask him questions and we could "chat." I have no problem with that as part of an interview but, and this is something that employers forget, the interviewee is also vetting the company to see if this is a good fit for him/her. Employers like this clearly do not value potential employee time. The VP I spoke with was not prepared and repeated the same catch phrases (we hire exceptional people) multiple times. I had to carry the conversation with whatever questions I had. Thankfully I had done my research on the company before I spoke with him. Overall it's frustrating to waste (yes, it was a waste) so much time researching the company, taking tests, and corresponding with the recruiting staff when the supervisor of the position can't even be bothered to remember that he has an interview, much less take 5 min prepping for it. It really shows where their priorities are. He lost out on a good candidate by being too busy to focus on this aspect of his job. My issue wasn't that he was late, it was that he was unprepared which limited our ability to discuss the job and how I could benefit the company. Employers should try to remember and appreciate what it's like on the other end of the interview process. How would you like to be treated when you're looking for your next job? For a company based on ethics, this behavior seems a bit incongruous.

He didn't really ask me anything, unfortunately.

Submit resume. If you pass screening they will contact you and give you a timed test. Once you pass then you get to talk to a person to learn more about the position and ask questions and they ask very specific technical questions that is very specific to what they want. Did not feel like there is room to let you learn or train.

Completed application and the received online cognitive and personality assessment a few days later. This assessment took about 30 minutes (15 minutes each section). I found it challenging, and actually a little off-putting. After competing I was not invited for the interview. I have interviewed quite a bit lately, and found this "test" to be a little over-the-top, and not the norm for other companies I have met with. Hope it is allowing Navex to find the kind of people it is looking for.
