The process was simple and easy to follow. I received an e-mail in November and successfully secured the job in January. The interview was conducted online by the project manager and my future mentor.

You start with an online application. A few weeks go by and you get a phone call, but you don't get advanced notice. The questions were behavioral and about general JPL knowledge.
