Was contacted on LinkedIn by a Recruiter from NAES. He didn't try to sell me on anything and did a great job with providing me with the facts. I appreciated that approach, so I applied on the NAES career page. He contacted me by phone one more time. He explained to me that this was just a brief and informal conversation to gather any information that he should know about that might not be on my resume. If the Hiring Managers were interested in an interview - he would be contacting me coordinate that. He also let me know that if I ever had any questions/concerns or would like to check on the status of my application - I could contact him directly any time. He made sure that I had all of his contact information. He didn't make any promises or guarantees.
