2 interview with hr first and deparmant manager second. and 1 technical assignment after that for tonsolve in one week. Aıditing tables structures, scaleable database solutions and that kind of things.

Entrevista
1. Initial 30min recruiter phone screen
2. Take home assignment
3. Technical round with two engineers
Overall process was OK.
After having the 3rd round, I didn't hear anything back for a couple days.
When I wrote an email to my recruiter - I got an email undeliverable error.
I wrote another email to the coordinator, which was replied with a generic email that said the position I am applying for was no longer open.
I requested a feedback meeting which they have kindly offered and shared the interview feedback and explained what had happened.
Turns out the company had a layoff and my recruiter was layed off as well. The opening I applied for was closed.
The whole experience taught me that maybe it's for the best not to work for a company that treats their employees and candidates like this.
