Entrevista
I went for an interview for a xmas casual position in Sydney. It was a group interview and we were split into two groups of about 7 people per group. There were two HRs and two managers there. Started off with overview on the company whilst asking some basic questions about the company. Next in our groups we had to go around and tell the group about ourselves and then we did role play where you take turns being the customer and the sales assistant with the person next to you. A HR person was stood at your group wrote notes. After that you filled out a form about availability and etc. Then there was a one on one interview that went for about 10minutes.
This was a group interview, The process involved explaining why you want to work in retail particularly why it is meaningful to you. The interview process involved an acting scenario where you were given a situation for example a customer is wanting to purchase a gift for their nephew and niece how would you help them in this scenario. There was a selection of products for you to choose from and explain to the customer (another interviewee acted as the customer). The interviewers (2) were warm and welcoming. We also were required to put in our availability at the interview and preference for department.

Entrevista
The group interview had about 8 candidates and 2 managers (one presenting a PowerPoint, the other observing).
First, we each introduced ourselves in a one-minute answer about who we are, why we enjoy retail, gift-giving, and the festive season. Next, we split into groups of 3 to discuss a scenario, focusing on teamwork and communication.
The final activity was a paired role-play where we took turns selling a product to each other.
Overall, the managers were really welcoming and the process was pretty chill and friendly.
