I found the process thorough but fair. Every step had a clear next step, and they didn't have any interviews "just because". First step was with HR, next with hiring manager, then they asked for a live/recorded 15+ min presentation on anything of my choosing. The final step was meeting with the regional VP. Everyone kept me in the loop during the process. Efficient and enjoyable.
