I was contacted a few days after applying by an employee to schedule an interview with one of the founders. She said they wanted to hire someone ASAP so could we schedule an interview soon. Had a phone interview that same day and was asked if I would be available the next day for an in person interview with both company founders. The next day I wait around all day only to finally hear something at 4pm. They want to meet at 7pm at a restaurant across town. I go, it’s very informal, their friend shows up and everything gets kind of rushed and cut short. I send work samples as requested and then absolute radio silence until over two weeks later when I get a general rejection email.
