I had went to two interviews for two different locations. They were both group interviews. First one went alright. Showed up early answered questions to the best of my ability Walked out of there disappointed. I could tell i didnt get the job. I had no makeup experience other then doing it myself. Everyone had worked at mac in this interview and were looking at me everytime i answered a question. I felt judge. I had retail and restaurant experience. The second one went well. Showed up early, Answered every question. Was honest since i was now sephora candidates. Talked about my passion for makeup. Thought i had a chance being 24 were chosen. So i made it to the 24 but didnt get it either. Finally heard back from both of the places through email. If you got a call you got the job. Sadly one both emailed me saying they were going with other candidates. Thats okay! There is always next time! Anyone apply for seasonal as a stock you wont be doing makeup just stock and cashier. You can apply after the holidays if they are open. If you do get the job as a seasonal. You would have to reapply for a postion after the season if they have an opening you could be hired again. I was only interested in stock to start out since i love the behind the scenes stuff. Ps. I had worked at target and restaurant. Never anywhere near makeup in either. But i still do my everyday and always willing to learn.
