For the first round interview, they asked: Why Wealth Management? Walk me through your resume? How does the Wealth Management Branch at Morgan Stanley make revenue? Walk us through a time where you had to get over a challenge with a group or team? What happened?

Interview was in person which I thought was unnecessary giving the current climate. However, it was a review of my resume and how it aligned with the job app. There were two interviewers, one of whom would be a peer and they asked about salary expectations in the interview which was uncomfortable as I wasn’t prepared to discuss that information with someone I would be working with, but not in a supervisory manner

I didn't like it. The interviewer did not seem interested in me from the beginning of the conversation. The interviewer proceeded to tell me that they were looking to start a new team and I would be trained on whatever I needed to know. Somehow with all of my financial services knowledge, I didn't get a second interview. The interviewer didn't even bother to ask me questions. I knew I wasn't getting the job before I got off the phone.
