The next stage after online application, was the phone interview which i was invited after 1 month. The phone interview was simple competence base questions plus some small technical questions. After that i was invited to an assessment center. which consisted of 2 technical interview, one competence interview. and a group exercise. The group exercise, was about servers, which they were planning to deploy, and there were different solution with their pros and cons. and we had to discusses the best solution The technical interviews, were tailored to the CV and background, so there is no point in mentioning them, However touching on some: Database: how can we store all instance of the user's password. Indexes, Unix terminal (man), HTTPS, HTTP

1. HireVue with 3 questions - two in English, one in Japanese. 2. 1 hour screening interview with an engineer, 30% behavioural including some Japanese questions, 70% technical with mix of DSA and coding questions. 3. 30 minute coding interview with an engineer, leetcode medium. 4. 30 minute technical interview with an engineer, was given a Wikipedia page on bloom filters and had 5 minutes to go through it, and was quizzed on it for 25 minutes. 5. 30 minute behavioural round, almost entirely in Japanese. 6. 30 minute behavioural round, more casual and mostly in english. 7. 45 minute final round, entirely behavioural. 8. Meeting with HR where I was given an offer.
