I had a wonderful interview experience with MongoDB. Total of 6 rounds (4 technical & 2 Manager/VP) were conducted. Though it looks little lengthy process, after each round you will get to know more about the company, their products and their expectations for this position. The technical rounds were quite challenging, you will be questioned mainly on network, OS, storage, I/O troubleshooting and if any programming skills you possess. You can expect both direct and scenario-based technical questions. The Job description provided in their website are accurate. Manager and VP rounds were mainly focused on testing your soft and behavioural skills. All the interviewers were very professional yet friendly. I would really thank the recruitment team for their valuable inputs which were quite useful for me to prepare and perform well in all the rounds and also would like to appreciate them for making the whole interview process seamless in this pandemic situation. The interview process consisted of five stages, with the first two being eliminatory. These initial interviews focused on a deep assessment of both my soft and hard skills. The interviewers adhered strictly to the allocated time and were direct with their technical questions to accurately gauge my expertise in relation to the role’s requirements. In the final three interviews, I met with the Hiring Manager, a Senior Director, and a Senior Engineer. Each of them made me feel comfortable while still challenging me with tough but relevant questions. Overall, I found the process well-structured and engaging, and I was thrilled when I received the offer!
