It was a face to face 20 minutes conversation with a recruiter and his manager preceding to submitting my resume to their client. Usually such conversation can be done on the phone and there was no need to drive/ride 25 miles under hot Phoenix Sun. In spite of their casual environment, I was asked to come in formal business attire. It was a general recruiter screening, not interview. They told me about possibility to start within two weeks. It turned out to be empty. Their client decided to go ahead with other candidates. Since then that recruiter left this company and I've never heard anything back from his manager whom I tried to follow up,
