      Entrevista

The HR person who initially contacted me never spoke once with me on the phone. All communication was done via email. The HR person asked that I sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement and after that explained that I would have to answer several scenario customer service questions and email them back to them. Once I completed the questions I was scheduled for a Video Skype Interview with a manager. The manager who would be conducting my interview emailed me to see what time I would be available. In the manager's email the title of the position I was interviewing for was changed from "Community Support Associate" to "Vimeo Project Associate." When I had my interview I was surprised to learn that another Mod Squad employee would be joining the discussion. What I thought was interesting was that the second employee never introduced himself and what his role was in the company. The interviewer did a terrible job selling me on why I would want to work for them. The interviewer brought up the issue of salary and benefits, but never went into details on the topic of the compensation package. He was very vague. I was told that the next step after our interview would be that I would be told either way if MOD Squad wanted to continue the hiring process in the next few days. I never heard anything back and I feel that is very unprofessional.

      Entrevista

I am based in Sydney and the director set up a three way interview over Skype. I was asked to complete an NDA, which I did. The two interviewers were really friendly and genuinely interested in me and following that I was asked to complete a written test. Three days after its completion I was informed that they offered the role to someone whose experience more closely aligned with the role, which is a stock standard response - I am thinking they didn't like my written responses but it left me feeling rather confused and I put it down to cultural differences.
