My interview was internal for this role, I applied through the internal channels and with in a week I had a call from the head of brand HR advising me that they would like to invite me to an assessment center, which unfortunately I was on holiday for. They were very accommodating in rescheduling so that I could attend a date, there was a little confusion as to who was to call me back and when however contact was made by the date agreed. My current line manager was the person who interviewed me which I found very comforting when I was successful as we had a basis of knowledge about each other.
