Code based.
Not just a technical code based interview, but they require interviewees to do up their UI mock for them.
Whether they use it or not in production code is another thing but there is no review after which.

cant remember as it was quite awhile back.
interview was good but the code assessment does not really check on your level of understanding, rather checks your level of spitting out code that can mock the UI.
