It went very smoothly, enjoyed speaking with the program director and officers. They asked many interesting questions and told me lots about their specific program, the institute, and other aspects.

First you meet with the internship coordinator, and then you meet with one or several of the scholars. The internship coordinator interview is casual with several research and behavior questions. The interview with the scholar is conversational with one or two more challenging research questions near the end. Demonstrated interest in the scholar's work is important.
