Initial contact was to set up a phone screen. The phone screen lasted ~30 minutes and was technical in nature. (e.g. "What is the purpose of applying a back-gate bias on a MOS transistor? Does it increase or decrease Vt? For an n-channel device, would the back-gate bias be positive or negative?") After the phone screen, there was no contact for about a month, so I wrote off the position and moved on. Then I got a request to come in for an on-site interview. The on-site interview lasted about 5.5 hours and was a series of one-on-one interviews, starting with the HR recruiter ("What kind of salary are you looking for? When would you be available?") and ending with the second-level manager for whom I'd be working. Interview was mostly technical, with some behavioral questions thrown in. People seemed friendly to me and to each other, which hasn't always been the case in my interviews.

What kinds of electrical parametric tests would you perform on a MOS transistor?
Draw the low-frequency and high-frequency C-V curves for a MOS capacitor on a p-epi substrate. Why do they look the way they do? Would they change if you had an n-type contact to the substrate next to the capacitor?
second round interview in Singapore site, generally the process is OK and the interviewer, the head of that department, is experienced on such occasion, questions are quite common for most interviews and is focused on personals rather than specific skills

Had a phone interview with a recruiter. Was asked to come out to Boise for an interview. The flew both me and a guest out. The on-site interview was about a 6 hour process. Consisted of me giving a presentation and several panel interviews. After the interview, received a tour of the boise area from a real estate agent. Received an offer for quite a bit less than I currently make and declined to take it, Micron did not seem to be willing to negotiate at all. Overall I enjoyed the interview process and tour, the Boise area seemed like a really nice place to live, and the people at Micron were very friendly. There was a good mix of both technical and behavioral questions.
