I applied to a job I found via linkedin. 2-3 weeks later I had a call with a recruiter. She was very positive and did a good job selling the company and job. The conversation was very shallow and pleasent. No deep digging or hard to answer questions. app 1 week later I had a call with the hiring manager. A very pleasent english man with many years in the company. Questions got a bit harder and to the point but still not very difficult or deep. - He explained his timeline and we ended the call. After that I didn't hear from them again. I even wrote the recruiter to please just confirm that I didn't make the shortlist but I didn't get an answer. - This surprised me as they both seems like decent professionals. I still wonder what went wrong but I will not chase it. Not a place for me.
