My experience interviewing for a job with the Production Operations department of WKAR at Michigan State University was an absolute nightmare. The interviewers came across as cold and hostile, and conducted themselves unprofessionally and inappropriately. Snide remarks were made about my qualifications for the position, as well as the work samples I had submitted, and an air of condescension permeated the entire process. It felt more like a trial than an interview, and I left absolutely dumbfounded as to why these people had acted that way. Regardless, I sent polite thank you letters to each of them immediately following the interview. I ended up never hearing back from them - not even a phone call or e-mail - and found out by checking online that the position had been filled.
