      Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 4 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Metronet en feb 2025

      Entrevista

      Following my application, a recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn to schedule an initial phone call. I responded promptly with my availability, but did not receive a reply. I followed up again, reiterating my availability, at which point the recruiter responded and asked me to text them directly. After doing so, the recruiter called me for a brief conversation regarding the role. Afterwards, the recruiter scheduled an interview with the hiring manager for the following Monday. The interview proceeded smoothly, and I was then asked if I could participate in a technical panel interview two days later, to which I agreed. After the panel interview, I sent a thank-you note to the hiring manager, who responded by advising me to "be on the lookout for an email from us outlining next steps," and encouraged me to reach out with any questions in the meantime. Approximately one week later, having received no follow-up, I contacted the recruiter via text and phone call to inquire about the status of next steps. The recruiter responded via text, stating that an additional interview was scheduled for the following day and that the team was in the process of finalizing approval on the pay range. After an additional four weeks passed with no communication, I reached out again via text. The recruiter thanked me for following up and mentioned that both the hiring manager and themselves had inquired about approval for a Senior-level pay range but had not yet received an update. As of today, more than 7 weeks have passed since my last interview, and I have received no further communication from either the recruiter or the hiring manager. This lack of transparency and extended silence has been both disappointing and unprofessional, especially given the positive interactions earlier in the process and the time I dedicated to multiple stages of interviews. I am submitting this complaint to bring attention to the breakdown in communication and to encourage greater accountability and follow-through in future recruitment efforts. I would appreciate clarification on the status of my application and any feedback available regarding the outcome of the process.
