The interview started with a phone screen, followed by a phone technical interview and an in person interview. They asked both standard software engineering questions and questions specific to their business (car insurance). Everyone one was very friendly, smart, and came from good companies prior to joining Metromile. The process took a little too long, about 3.5 weeks in total. Other than that in was a good experience.
