I applied via AngelList, and CEO Richard got back to me the next day. We arranged a phone screener. We chatted about their company, team and product, as well as my experience. It was casual, less than 30mins. The next step was a home assignment, where I was emailed a link to a GitHub repo. The day after, he sent me another repo because the first was apparently broken. No biggie. Finished in a few days, added CTO Ben as collaborator since he’s owner of the assignment repo, and notified Richard via our email thread. He said they’d take a look and get back to me. They didn’t get back to me. It’s been a month. If it’s a “no”, at least I’d expect the courtesy of being informed of the decision—let alone getting some feedback.
