This review is for the data center team: mechanical engineer role. I interviewed with someone located in Austin Texas. I want to describe this EXTREMELY negative and frustratingly random interview as a pure waste of my time. Never have I been SO TECHNICALLY prepared for an interview, only to be rejected by an interview that asked basically nothing. The interviewer clearly has been pigeonholed his entire career and has ZERO idea the type of challenges we solve in Aerospace. The person calls himself a mechanical engineer and showed zero intuition when I described the challenges I solve for dynamic environments. He didn’t even know how modal analysis works. When he asked basic questions like design rules for injection molding, he would not wait for me to finish my answer before interrupting. Other random questions consist of whether I have done system engineering. No. Someone experienced in design and analysis won't be an expert in systems engineering. If you want someone who does system engineering, please list the role as System Engineering and find candidates accordingly. Other questions consist of whether I have done sheet metal made of steel. No. We do not put giant steel panels on satellites. And if that is shocking to you, you should not be interviewing candidates.

The interview process is long but very organized and worth the work you put into it. Everyone you interact with is pleasant and helps to make you comfortable during the process.

Entrevista
The recruiter emailed saying we would like to schedule an interview with you as your resume was shortlisted by the hiring manager. I was asked to provide an estimated availability for 5 days for an interview.
The first interview would be screening if you qualify, you will get to attend five more interviews (technical, behavioural, design).
I was scheduled for the screening interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager looked in a hurry and was rude. He asked me to go through my resume/experience.
Then he started asking me questions about diecast, machining, sheet metal design and injection molding.
He was interrupting a lot and was not allowing me to complete my sentences. The screening interview is usually 45 mins. The hiring manager joined 5 minutes late and after 30 minutes told me that I am being kicked out of the room and won't be able to give you time to ask me questions. This sounded very rude and unprofessional.
Overall the interview process was really bad.
