I received a friendly call from a recruiter inviting me to an interview. Shortly after that, I was notified that I had been selected for the next stage to meet the hiring manager, which was scheduled for two weeks later.
Unfortunately, three days before the interview, I checked the Meta careers portal and saw that my application status had been changed from "Active" to "Not Moving Forward" without any prior notice.
This news was unexpected and disappointing, so I contacted the recruiter. However, I had to wait two days before receiving a response that I was not successful.
It would have been helpful if I had been informed earlier, as I had already prepared for the interview.
A round of SQL and product question. The SQL question was pretty simple, and I explained my thought process. Product question was tricky and open ended. Don't expect feedback for the interview.
Recruiter screen, first round, then 5 interview full loop. Recruiter for full loop felt cold and unresponsive while I was doing the interview. Interviewers would change what they were looking for halfway through the questions and didn't seem to pay attention to my answers (I would propose a solution, they would try to get me to another solution, and then they revealed at the end the first solution I said.)

I believe the interviewer was looking for more metrics but I couldn't provide. It was overall a good learning.
