Entrevista
The hiring and interview process was traditional. It included a screening interview over the phone with HR, followed by a number of interviews with the Hiring Manager, several team members and the Department Executive. The last set of interviews were in person in NYC, and MetLife did make the travel arrangements for a full day of interviews. The overall experience was positive.

I had 3 total interviews, they used out sourced HR who aren't very compitent, initial screening offered interview windows, but then just cold called me with no appointment the first time, then 1.5 hrs late the second time. Then had 1 panel interview with more leadership level, and another with more lateral team members. Interviews were short and fairly simple. One was rescheduled at the last minute basically wasting my whole day. Then they totally ghosted me. Followed up twice with different members of HR team and just crickets. Quite unprofessional. Based on the experience in interviewing I'm not too worried about missing out on working there.

Applied online, heard back from recruiter 1 week later. It was the standard recruiter interview - tell me about yourself/interest in role/salary expectations. I progressed to the next round with the HM, who told me, I'd hear back from HR after a few weeks (provided a timeline). Followed up twice with HR a month after interview. Was told twice they were still conducting interviews, been ghosted since.

What are your expectations from your manager/your team?
It was a traditional case study style interview - quantitative and qualitative problem statements. There were three rounds, including one with the hiring manager and two with team members and stakeholders
