I drove down to a hotel outside LaGuardia Airport to meet with a few gents from Merrick and talk about the position and get a feel for whether or not it would be enjoyable and good use of my skills. I had been in pet food at that point for about 5 years.

Entrevista
Phone screening with another District Sales Manager. They will recommend you to the hiring manager for the next phase.
First interview discussion of background, professional experience, situational questions. If you move past this round you will be given a couple of assignments to visit retail locations and prepare your review. Identify opportunities, overcome competitors or potential objections. Focus on selling in additional items, adding incremental displays and how you would partner with the account. You could also be given a scenario to build a presentation to add in a new line and add to your space.
2nd Interview - role play the scenario for adding in the new line. Overcome multiple objections and win the business.
