This is the slowest interview processes I've ever experienced.
The HR is located in HK, reporting manager is also in HK. HR arranged 2nd interview almost 3 weeks after 1st interview. Followed up with HR on the status 1 month after 2nd interview and finally HR advised will arrange a face-to-face (3rd/final) interview with the AVP & Manager (both from HK) in SG shared office 3 weeks later. They've shortlisted 2 candidates (including myself) for the final interview. During the final interview, the manager shared that she's still unable to advise or clearly define the job scope for this role. The initial job scope for this role will be more on operational side for the 1st year such as reviewing the marketing costs incurred by the marketing dept, etc. Not so much on FP&A work. When asked about the hybrid work arrangement, the manager shared "Yes, you can work from home if you're not feeling well." What does this imply? They expect this person to be a workaholic like them? Expected to work even when unwell but allowed to WFH?
After the final interview, no news from them thereafter. I spotted them posting the job opening online again.
