They asked about my experience in the field and what my long term objectives are. Panel style with 4 individuals, asked if I had experience working with substance users. There was a nurse, care coordinator and 2 social workers, asking me questions about my desire to work in a hospital setting.

I went to two interviews fairly quickly. They were wanting to fill the position rather quickly. The supervisor that interviewed with scheduled a day for me to shadow with a team member to be sure it was a good fit. I went to the shadow and it went amazing in my opinion. However, they had several more interviews to complete. The only potential issue was that I was wanting a full-time position and the supervisor told me they only had a part-time position they wanted to fill. I was perfectly fine with this because I’d be happy to wait for a full time position. The supervisor told me that I should hear something by early next week. I waited and gave it a few days the next week. Midweek, I emailed the HR coordinator I had interviewed with and heard nothing back. I did not hear anything until Friday at 4pm by an automated email no less. The email mentioned that the position was filled, but it was for a full-time position. I was crushed by the email because I honestly felt like that it was the perfect fit for me. Overall, it was a good experience, but the automated email definitely soured it.
