There were 1 Codility assessment and 2 rounds of interviews. The Codility test had 2 questions about Spring Boot and Kafka, Followed by an interview with a group of engineers, the interview surrounded my problem solving skills, technical background and experience, and my current work. Lastly, there was an individual interview with the team lead that spoke of similar topics. The process was quite slow, the gap between steps was quite lengthy. The position I applied on LinkedIn was listed as a full-time role but I was given a contract-based position, turned out there was a small statement at the end of the job description mentioned that the employer may offer the job on contract-basis. I felt a bit obnoxious for all the time I spent in the preparation and the interviews, I even emphasized to the team lead that I was only looking for a full-time role.
