The interview process was straightforward and the technical questions were not difficult at all. They covered a wide variety of topics: OSPF, BGP, switching including spanning-tree, and security. The questions were not difficult given my previous experience building international multi-data centers. I was not offered the position as they had allegedly already offered the position to an individual that was my junior technically, but my senior in relation to the Meraki product line. I was allegedly the backup in case their choice could not move to the area. Had I known that small detail I would have never interviewed with the organization and wasted my time. In my experience, organizations will hire internally over external individuals as decreased training for a product line is necessary. The director (4th interview) seemed to focus too much of our time on why I chose to leave an organization that was clearly failing. Even after explaining in detail why I left (far too many hours worked for so little pay..etc), the answer was not perceptibly acceptable to him. *shrug* Oh well :) Moved on and found a much better job outside of Cisco. It's only a matter of time before Cisco ruins Meraki as they do with each of their acquisitions unfortunately. Such an awesome product and only a matter of time before Cisco ruins it too.
