The process with Megger can be a bit daunting at first if you aren't use to the culture in this industry(Test Set OEMs). You will go through a few phone call interviews where you will usually speak with the hiring manager and maybe one or two of your potential future colleagues, where you will asked all sort of questions ranging from your past experience, knowledge of the power system testing industry, experience commissioning substations, transformers, etc.
If you pass this portion you will be invited to an all day panel in one of their offices like Dallas. Here you will usually be meet by their lovely staff where you will get a factory tour and eventually sat down in a conference room where you will get a long agenda of the meetings you will be having through out the day. They will take you to lunch, and then continue the panel of interview throughout the day. It can be very intense if you have never done this kind of interview process before but, ultimately it will feel rewarding having made it through the process. You will be asked technical question to test how deep your knowledge goes, but also soft skills questions about dealing with customer and business to business relationships. Overall if you been in the industry even for a short amount of time there will be some name recognition here and there that you pick up on. If you love this segment of the energy industry you will see many interview processes that are very similar from other companies.

The Interview was time consuming, almost everyone in the Higher Management and team took my interview, seems like in that much big company no one have the authority to finalize the candidate, Tired of answering the repeated questions by each one. The funniest part there was no HR and on the name of HR only one lady was there who was seems to be more receptionist rather than HR. They did not inform me what will be the next step and did not contact me for long. I even have to follow up for the money what I spent on flight and hotel, and they were behaving like Government department and not replying to my email, almost after one and a half month I got my money back. I wonder whether they pay their employees salary on time. I made my mind on interview itself that I am not going to join this company even though they are going to hire me. They did not ask what my expected salary is may be they come to know with my experience they cannot hire me on the position for which they were recruiting me. The lack of coordination and showing them overly smart was there.

They ask lots of technical question what they do in their daily routine testing and expect you know all the answers for to be eligible for the job.

Video interview from a remote location. Interviewers were quite hostile and critical. Not enough time allocated to fully assess candidate qualifications. Company did not contact directly but through a recruiter. No feedback provided after the interview.
