The recruiter reached out to me to request an interview. She confirmed that my background and experience was a good fit for the position. She also confirmed the salary range. At start of interview she asked me to hold while she figured out what position she was interviewing me for, looked for my resume, asked me where I applied to help her find my resume and then read my resume while I waited. She asked me to rewrite my resume in order to replace words with the job description in order to be presented to the hiring manager. She did not review the job, ask any ask job specific questions, nor give an overview of the company.
