Many communications are deal with via email or over the telephone. Interview began due to work that I had done online and began with an email conversation which then moved into a telephone interview that went back and forth for a day or two from there before an offer sheet was given to me. The company is small and has about half its employees working remotely. The interviewer seemed rather stiff and unfriendly which was odd, no jovial mannerisms or other things you would expect from within the games industry.
