This was probably the easiest interview I've had to date. It took 13 days from the time I applied to the actual interview. I'm told it will take two more weeks for potential second more in depth application to be completed, then a potential job offer, plus 1 week of training should an offer be made and accepted. The store manager was the interviewer. She was very casual and upbeat during the interview making you feel comfortable and accepted. Questions asked: - What is your favorite store? - Can you tell me of the best customer service you've ever experienced? - Tell me of a difficult customer service issue and how you handled it? How did it turn out? - Why do you want to work for Maurices? - Are you competitive? - What would you do if a customer came out of the dressing room wearing clothing that didn't fit or didn't look good? What would you say to her? - If another associate was talking negatively about another co-worker or manager how would you handle it? - Tell me about yourself - Let's go through your resume and tell me about each position and why you left. - What are your professional goals? - What are your questions for me? After the interview there is a questionnaire consisting of 100 questions. These are general personality and situational questions in the Disagree - Agree formatting. Easy...they just want to see how you measure up to their standards and if your personality will be a good fit for them. It takes about 20 minutes or so to complete. Following the questionnaire she told me of the follow up procedure, asked if I had any further questions and thanked me for showing up. DO make sure you bring two copies of your current resume. One is for you and the other for your interviewer. It is easier to go through it with them when you have your own copy. This is pretty standard to bring one along with you but don't expect because you gave it to them once that they'll automatically have it with them.

Very easy and just fun at the same time it was a good time working at Maurice’s. My interviewer was very understanding from my perspective and experience as well. It lasted about it 30 minutes
