Second terrible experience with interviews at Mastercard for similar positions. Always involving USA VPs.
Lot of messages exchanged via email and linkeding before and just after interview for next steps. Told by HR person that a date will be sent for next step, then total silence.
Same people who were replying emails and messages - always friendly - suddently stop returning emails and keep you on hold.
Mastercard need to improve its process as promises given during interviews are not kept and people start ignoring emails and messages, clearly to avoid a feedback even being responsive before.
Why not end the process so people can move on?

1. Talk to HR
2. Case study with the hiring team (US, India)
3. Take home assignment (5-7 days to work on)
4. Present the work to the hiring manager
5. Final conversation with the VP of the department
6. Final answer from HR
***I received positive feedback after each step, but the HR team told me they changed their mind about sponsoring my visa to work in Ireland, which is ridiculous and frustrating. (It took me 2.5 months to complete all the steps.)

Entrevista
Interview with recruiter. Followed by competency based interview with design lead and senior designer. Short case study presentation requested but little information given as to expectation. Wasn't clear how long the presentation/case study should be or what format it should take. I chose a low-fi presentation deck as a prompt to discuss areas of work, but post -interview feedback was they liked me and my portfolio but thought my deck was underwhelming (in terms of design). I believe my portfolio was sufficient to showcase my work, so not really sure how useful/valid the feedback was.
