Got contacted by the recruiter 3 months after applying, He was polite and friendly during the first screening, he decided to set up a second phone interview with one of the hiring managers about a week after. Hiring manager’s interview went well, she asked tons of insightful questions and even offered constructive feedback and tips for me to use to my advantage during the next interview, A third in-person interview came through, this time with HR. This one made me a bit uncomfortable, she was very curt the whole time, didn’t make eye contact when I answered questions about my exp and seemed more focused on explaining how the company hires top talent mostly from big consulting firms “because they are extremely selective”, she also tried to get me to admit to/share with her character flaws I simply did not believe I had, and seemed upset when I expressed an alternative answer. Surprisingly I guess the first interview and the recruiter’s opinion was enough to land me a fourth and final phone interview with the second hiring manager who was exceptionally friendly and communicative, we connected well and by the end of the interview he expressed his desire for us to chat again. And… that was it. Unfortunately I never heard back from them, followed up with the recruiter twice a few weeks apart no response and he mentioned that they were still evaluating the final candidates and that he would let me know soon. Never here back. In reality the entire interview process was quick and professional enough but they not even sending me an email to close the loop after 4 interviews for a Director role… not good.
