Unprepared local (Taiwan) Recruiter & Huge Mismatch with Global Job Description
*The Experience: The official job description for this Staff-level role clearly requires 10–15 years of experience. However, during the screening, it was obvious the recruiter was completely disconnected and had not read the JD before the call. (The job opening was posted in early May 2026. It’s been over a month. hello!) She described the role as a junior, entry-level position focused on running administrative errands for HR (handling EWC logistics, family days, and the annual party) alongside cross-border marketing events and logistics.
**Advice to Management: Please ensure recruiters actually read the global JDs before jumping on calls with senior professionals. Using a high-level title to attract experienced candidates, only for an unprepared recruiter to pitch a low-budget, junior administrative errand job, is highly unprofessional and damages the company's employer brand.
