I applied through a recruiter. Very extensive interview process with a lot of back and forth and online tests to be completed. I had a Skype interview where I felt like I was interrogated, right down to being asked about my relationship with my parents. When organising a follow-up email I was told that I wasn't being flexible enough. I pulled out of the interview process when my time management skills were insulted. The whole process felt like they hold themselves above everyone else. As if they are Google. Delusional.

Martek employ a VERY strict selection process. You get invited to a selection evening where you have to take several tests such as IQ tests etc. About halfway through they usually make a cut of anyone who didn't reach the pass mark required, and then you move onto group presentations and a short five minute mini interview is reserved at the very end for the lucky few remaining after the group presentations. After THAT you then need to put together a presentation or similar for a long interview at the office. You may have a third interview, too, depending on the seniority of the position.
