I applied direct, spoke to the internal recruiter about the job description and about my own background. An interview was lined up and a spoke with a very agreeable person regarding the role and I enjoyed the interview itself. There would've been a follow-up interview, but I heard nothing further from anyone in the organisation. I contacted them to request feedback but, frustratingly, no one seemed to feel that unsuccessful candidates are worthy of a response. This doesn't reflect well on the organisation.
