Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Mapbox (San Francisco, CA) en jun 2018
Entrevista
I applied through LinkedIn and within a day I got an email from a recruiter to schedule a 30 minute phone screen for later in the week. After talking with the recruiter, she decided to move forward to the onsite stage and schedule my onsite for the following week by end of day. I liked the fast turn around since I was looking to leave my job by end of June. The day of the onsite, I was greeted by the recruiter and give a tour of the office. My first interview covered process and documentation. In total, I met with 4 team members and got asked questions about sense of urgency, efficiency, prioritization, diversity, and inclusion.
Overall, my experience was very positive. The team was flexible with my schedule and understood that I didn't want to make a decision till finishing my other 5 onsites I had already scheduled. In the end, out of all my offers, I chose Mapbox because I enjoyed my conversations with the team and experience their hard work during my interview process.

How do you partner with recruiters to ensure they’re staying organized?
The take-home task involved sourcing real candidates for their hard-to-fill roles with extensive requirements, as well as providing a step-by-step guide to my process. I selected a diverse group to reflect my approach: some candidates were a 100% match and were already in the company’s pipeline; others intentionally lacked certain requirements on paper to challenge the notion that only “perfect” fits should be considered, which I explained during our call. The team disagreed with this approach and rated my submission poorly as a result. That’s neither good nor bad - different teams work differently. Sharing this as a tip / insight for future candidates.

Work experience, domain knowledge, sourcing methods
I was contacted by a recruiter and set-up the first call with that same recruiter. For a first call, there were a lot more questions around my experience and background than I expected, but the questions were very fair. I also thought they did a good job of providing a lot of company info in the short call as well.
