The interview process left me feeling underwhelmed due to 'too basic' interview questions, which didn't align with my level of experience. It seemed like the interview might have been held primarily to 'fulfill' HR requirement / formality rather than to genuinely seek a new candidate, as if they already had a preferred candidate in mind. The assessment provided only 1 hour before the interview which I felt rushed and didn’t allow me to fully demonstrate my capabilities. Worse still, I was instructed to submit my assessment answers during the interview via the Microsoft Teams chat, a method that was not only chaotic but blatantly unprofessional.
Most importantly, the delay in receiving an update on the interview results was significantly longer coming from a well-known airline company compared to my experiences with smaller companies / firms, which often have more efficient processes. I believe a more rigorous and professional approach to both the assessment and interview process, being more considerate and fair, along with faster feedback would greatly improve the candidate experience.
