Virtual interviews were going well - the interviewers gave positive feedback and verbally approved to move me to the next step. After 2 weeks of waiting for the 3rd interview, I was blindly set up to an interview for a different role. I wasn't disappointed about the role, but if this had been communicated, it would have been far less confusing for me and the interviewer and I feel this hindered my chances of advancing.
