Overall I don't think the work ethics of the staff here reflects a professional work environment.
First-level recuitter was very nice and responsive, although she didn't inform me exactly what team it was that I would be interviewing with, so I was a bit surprised when I found out, given my background. I was happy when the second level recruiter called me. We arranged a time. I stated the fact that I was in a different time zone, yet interviewer neglected that, as my phone range at 12 am, waking me up from my slumber for a midnight tech screen. Apparently I passed, and a third person contacted me for a tech interview over Google Hangout.
From here, another journey. I specified what time I was available, thereafter we confirmed on a date and time for tech interview. A day before the tech interview I receive an email informing me that the interviewer has another appointment and thus won't be available. OK. To my surprise, the she schedules another interview to the very same day of receiving this notification -- just 2 hours notice. I go with it, regardless and accept to do the interview any ways. I short while after, I get another email (at this time it is getting close to interview time). Interview is again, rescheduled -- to the very next day. Hmm, OK. I went it still - since I was already in it, I had to finish it up.
Finally, its, tech interview day/time (hopefully). Interviewer tells me that he hasn't looked at my resume yet, and that it should have been sent to him by the recruiter. Without telling me about what he does or his group's effort, he goes straight into asking me about my background -- something that could have been saved (for time's sake had he taken time to look over said resume). I poured a history of my work/research/internship experience from the last 10 years. Interviewer seemed attentive, but then begins to tell me that he has to leave to go catch a flight at the airport!
I read all the feedback here, so I was not surprised as the events played back right in front of my eyes. I was prepared for the unpleasant.
