Entrevista
typically a phone interview first, then they will call you in and you spend 1/2 to full day meeting with people in the department you'd be hired into. you'll get a call back if they want to hire you then a letter. you'll need to undergo a security check and you might need to apply for a clearance

Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 5 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en MITRE (Bedford, MA) en ene 2011
Entrevista
Initially submitted application online and received a phone call from their HR dept in setting up an in person interview. Was flown up to their Bedford campus and met with 3 of the staff (a senior staff member, a mechanical engineer staff, and the director of the department). The first interview, he discussed a project he had in mind he was hiring for ( heavy on fluid mechanics) and discussed some of the responsibilities and gauged my interest in the project. The second interview was very similar to the first, but focused on a different project (mechanical vibration and heat transfer) which I was more interested in. The last interview focused more on my fundamental approaches to problems and discussed what I'd prefer from management and my preferences in work environments. 2-3 weeks after my interview I was called and was extended an offer for the internship. A background check and government clearance was needed before beginning the internship.
