      Entrevista

      They were extremely unorganized and unprofessional. After the initial pre-screen interview with the HR department, I received a phone call a month later asking "why didn't I proceed?" Because the woman never followed up when she promised, and did not provide an answer to my email requesting a status update. I then had a phone interview with the director of the division, who was new to the job and inexperienced in a leadership role. After a 90 minute phone conversation, she ended the call with the commitment to followup within 48 hours. A week later, I received an email from HR asking me to show up on the following Wednesday. I committed and asked for the specific building I should arrive to and whom to ask for. I heard nothing back until the Monday before asking me to submit a complete strategy and plan based on their FY goals by Tuesday (the exact job that I was interviewing for), and be prepared to brief it the following day. I was also asked if I had a sandwich preference because they were offering lunch during the presentation. A nice gesture, but my requests for a POC and building number were ignored. When I saw the outlined requirements for the presentation--asking me to submit work and all rights that went to it--I offered an alternative as this sounded like idea fishing, and I would have no recourse if they used my plans in any aspect. I never heard back from them. I have seen jobs listed several times for various roles and I have warned others in my field that this process is not normal, it's unprofessional and their entire hiring process (from start to finish) is NOT the standard for organizations that are looking to hire and retain top talent.
