Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 4 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en MIT Lincoln Laboratory (Lexington, MA) en mar 2009
Entrevista
I submitted an application online. Later I had a brief non-technical phone interview. Next they flew me out for an in person interview at Lincoln Labs. They told me that I should prepare a 30 minute talk on my research. When I arrived I met with HR and then with several people in the group with which I was interviewing. They were completely disorganized and did not seem prepared for me to give a talk. So they only had me talk to several people and I was done before lunch. This was awkward and frustrating given that I flew across the country for this interview for 3 hours of conversations that could have been done on the phone.

There were no difficult questions. They just asked me about my graduate research.

Entrevista
It was just a quick 30 minute interview about my experience and how it pertained to the positions. They also gauged my interest in the position and my knowledge of active optical systems.

Q: Can you talk about your relevant experience as a teacher's assistant and in designing coursework?
After submitting an application, I was asked to schedule an interview. The interview was non-technical, it was only about my resume and interests. I really loved that aspect--it made me way more relaxed!
