Recruiter contacted me via LinkedIn and we set up a call. Recruiter was very unprofessional showing up 10 minutes late without even apologise. He did not turn the camera on which I found it very unprofessional considering mine was on. He did not even bother to explain. He started to ask me (after some job related questions) uncomfortable questions like marital status, age, nationality and current salary. On a salary he started to play cheap at very early stage, making calculations on how much I was earning per month and proposing slightly higher salary for the Recruit he was hiring for, mentioning the tax free benefits of Dubai and mentioning other nonsense elements aimed at convincing me how great it's worked in Dubai. My style is Never ask information about elements that have nothing to do with job like age, marital status and nationality. Never start to do accounting on other people money Overall, very unpleasant experience and I would not recommend any westernised person to deal with this company recruiters. After gathering all this info, he did not even bother to share with me the outcome of the interview (after I spent 1 hour with him).
