I was approached on Linkedin about the role by their in-house recruiter and encouraged to apply in order to initiate the interview process. I had a 1 hour meeting with their in-house recruiter, where we discussed my experience and how strong I am in the various technologies relevant to the role. I was told I would get an update regarding next steps within 3 days. Not only was I ghosted, but when I wrote to their recruiter 2 weeks later, she continued to ghost me. How hard is it to respond to somebody to say "some other candidates are better qualified, sorry"? Very unprofessional, especially when considering this is an in-house recruiter.
